Congratulations to Laura Rosenthal Casting, the casting director on Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, which opened this weekend nationwide.

The Mummy returns, this time in the form of a vanquished emperor from ancient China. Congratulations to Ronna Kress, the casting director on The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. By using Cast It, she and her team were able to oversee and manage auditions from London, Canada, Australia and China. She is one of the first casting directors to use Cast It not just for uploading actors and auditions, but also for managing numerous other aspects of her casting business.

Kit Kittredge: American Girl goes wide this week. Congratulations to the casting director, Nancy Nayor, HBO and Picturehouse Entertainment. Actors were auditioned in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, and Chicago over the course nearly 3 months, with Cast It keeping the videos, actor info and project information updated and organized every step of the way.

Cast It summer blockbusters keep rolling out, and this past weekend is no exception. Wanted opened strongly with over $50M in weekend ticket sales.

Mindy Marin, casting director on Wanted, used Cast It on this project, and over the course of almost a year, auditions, demo reels, and actors were viewed on the system by Mindy, the producers and Universal studio execs, from all over the world. Auditions were taped an uploaded from Los Angeles, Prague, New York, and from the UK. Congratulations to Mindy and Universal Pictures on this huge success!

Zohan hit the screens this past weekend. Congratulations to Sarah Finn and Randi Hiller on yet another big summer movie. Cast It served as the casting hub for this project with actors and auditions uploaded from Los Angeles, New York, London and Israel.

Congratulations to Richard Hicks, David Rubin, and Lori Wyman, as Recount airs tonight on HBO. Over 100 roles, cast in Los Angeles, Miami and Tallahassee over the course of five months and once again Cast It managed the entire process from start to finish.

Under extremely tight security, actor information, reels and auditions for the new Indiana Jones feature were uploaded to Cast It for review by the production team and DreamWorks studio personnel. Cast It congratulates Debbie Zane, the casting director on this exciting new installment in the Indiana Jones series.

Cast It has been nominated in the B2B category for OnHollywood’s Top 100 companies. The winners will be announced at the OnHollywood conference in Los Angeles on June 10th and 11th.
