Opening This Weekend

youthYouth in Revolt opens this weekend. Cast in Los Angeles, New York and Michigan, casting directors Joanna Colbert, Rich Mento, and Meredith Tucker, used Cast It to share lists, actor info, reels, and auditions with each other and with the film’s director Miguel Arteta and the producers. Youth in Revolt was also the first film to use Cast It’s Online Open Call system to do a nationwide search for the role of Sheeni.

Congratulations to Joanna, Rich and Meredith and the entire casting team.

Also opening this weekend is Leap Year from Universal Pictures. Cast by Nina Gold from London, Cast It served as the primary casting hub between Nina’s team and the Universal casting team and the executives based in Los Angeles. Congratulations to Nina and her staff.
