Cast It has launched a talent rep and actor services web site called ActorCast. Talent reps and actors can create profiles, manage packages that combine headshots, resumes and reels, and submit to roles made available by casting directors using Cast It.
Cast It has built the most robust, full featured online casting service available that allows casting directors, studios, directors, producers, and productions to share, view and comment on actors, auditions and reels.
Cast It is used by every major film studio, the big five television networks and studios, and over 400 casting offices worldwide. Over 4,000 studio executives, production executives, producers and directors have Cast It accounts.
Cast It’s latest innovation is the Online Open Call system that allows actors from anywhere in the world to submit their headshot, resume and audition to a publicly accessible web page. This is the perfect solution for open calls, reality show casting and/or as a promotional vehicle for building interest in an upcoming project.

The Avengers smashed weekend box office records in its US opening. Congratulations to Sarah Finn, Randi Hiller, the casting directors on this film and the entire Avengers casting team! Think Like a Man opened in the top spot this past weekend for highest grossing films. Congratulations to Kim Hardin, the casing director on this project. Kim and her team used Cast It during the casting process to keep track of over 30 roles, and to upload actors, audition video and self-taped auditions for review by the filmmakers.
The Lukcy One opens this weekend. Congratulations to Ronna Kress, the casting director on the film. She and her team used Cast It during the casting process to manage roles, role categories, actors, auditions and reels and to share that material with the filmmakers and studio executives. With actors and audition video coming from remote locations like North and South Carolina, New York, and Los Angeles, Cast It is an invaluable tool for keeping that material organized but during the project, and after as an online archive.

HBO’s new film Game Change premiered this weekend to strong ratings for the network. Congratulations to casting directors Kathleen Chopin, Richard Hicks and David Rubin, and to the entire casting team that worked on the film. With actors, reels and audition videos uploaded from New York, Los Angeles, and Baltimore for numerous roles, Cast It enabled the casting directors to not only collaborate from their different locations, but to also organize choices and present favorites for the filmmakers to quickly review.
